Come inside the kitchen!
Across these six weeks, you’ll build a writing practice rooted in discipline and ease and emerge with that holy grail - a finished script!
You’ll learn to stack habits, set clear goals, and create a schedule that supports the writer you’re becoming. I have poured over fifteen years of teaching experience into this six week course. One thing I pride myself on as a teacher is how much my students produce. This will help you to develop material for the ever shifting world while maintaining and building your sense of self as an artist.
This is your invitation to not only begin a project, but to finish one.
In the kitchen, we believe that consistency is its own kind of magic.
"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit" - Aristotle
Small daily rituals become heat. Focus becomes flame. Before you know it, the page softens, the ideas simmer, and you begin to trust your own creative temperature.
“Prior Preparation Prevents Poor Performance, as they say in the army - and I always, always want to be ready. Just like Bigfoot.”
― Anthony Bourdain, Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly
